rice flour making machine
Rice flour is made from high-quality rice and exhibits characteristics such as high expansion and uniform powder quality, as well as good water solubility. Rice flour is used for producing noodles, rice noodles, pastries, baked goods, and other similar products. Additionally, we have equipment such as a maize milling plant and a wheat flour mill.
- Capacity: 1-150 tpd
- Main process: cleaning, peeling, grinding, sieving, drying, and packaging
how to make rice flour
wet grinding
- Step 1: Cleaning and Shelling: Vibrating screens and stone-removing machines, as well as magnetic separators, are used to remove impurities from the surface of the rice and immature grains.
- Step 2: Soaking: The rice need be soaked in water at room temperature or at a low temperature for 6 to 24 hours. This could soften the rice, reduce the energy consumption of wet grinding, and increase whiteness and fineness.
- Step 3: Wet grinding: Use a sand mill to grind the soaked rice and water together into a rice paste. This results in a finer particle size, and starch damage is minimal.
- Step 4: Filtration: Adopting a vibrating screen to remove coarse particles and fibers, which will ensure the uniformity of the powder.
- Step 5: Dehydration: Excess water is removed from the rice paste by using a centrifugal dehydrator to reduce the burden on the drying system.
- Step 6: Drying: After dehydration, the rice flour adopt flash dryer to achieve the desired final moisture content of 12% – 14%.
- Step 7: Fine grinding: Drying is complete, and the rice flour undergoes a second fine grinding process to enhance its uniformity.
- Step 8: Screening and grading: The dried rice flour is screened and classified through a centrifugal screening machine to meet different particle size requirements.
- Step 9: Packing: Rice flour is usually packaged in 0.5–50 kg bags using automatic weighing, filling, and sealing systems.
dry grinding
- Step 1: Cleaning and Shelling: Vibrating screens and stone-removing machines, magnetic separators are used to remove the impurities on the surface of the rice and the immature grains.
- Step 2: Milling: Use a grinder to grind the washed and shelled rice into powder; the dry grinding method is simple and has a lower investment cost.
- Step 3: Screening and Classification: The milled rice flour is screened and classified to achieve a uniform particle size.
- Step 4: Drying: Drying is applied to reduce the moisture content of the rice flour by fluidized bed dryers or hot air ovens to a safe storage level, typically around 12–14%.
- Step 9: Packing: Rice flour is usually packaged in 0.5–50 kg bags using automatic weighing, filling, and sealing systems.
wet grinding vs dry grinding
