step 1: cleaning

Wash the selected fresh and plump flaxseeds to remove impurities. After washing, it will undergo drying for the subsequent pressing process.

Step 2: crushing and soaking

Crush dry flaxseeds to facilitate further pressing. The crushed flaxseeds still need to be soaked to increase the oil yield. The soaking time is usually 20 to 30 minutes, and the temperature should be around 40 ℃

Step 3: pressing

After soaking, the flaxseeds are put in a pressing machine. In the pressing process, you should precisely control pressure and temperature to avoid the loss of nutritional ingredients. After the pressing process is completed, flaxseed oil and residue will be obtained.

step 4: filtering

Filter the pressed flaxseed oil to remove impurities and residues. To increase the quality and taste of flaxseed oil, a decolorization process is also necessary. During the decolorization process, adsorbents such as activated carbon will be used to remove the pigments and odors from the oil.
