step 1: pre-cleaning
Almond seeds must be thoroughly dried and cleaned to remove sand, dust, and other impurities before storing. Then it should remove kernels. Because the kernel may lead to aflatoxin poisoning. Before almonds start pressing or further processing, they need to be pre-cleaned to remove impurities, protect the machine, increase oil yield, and improve the quality of the final product.
step 2: Shelling
The almonds are conveyed to the grading screen, where they are sorted by size to enhance the shelling efficiency and reduce the damage to the pits. After grading, the almonds enter the shelling machine, which cracks the hard shells and removes the lightweight shell debris through the dust separator.
