how to extract neem oil

- Step 1: Cleaning: adopting mature dried neem kernels and shelling them. Then remove impurities, clean thoroughly, and dry until the moisture content is 6–8%. Break or crush into particles to facilitate pressing.
- Step 2: Cooking: Heat crushed neem to make the oil easy to flow out. Then, cooking neem in content temperature (80-100℃) to reduce oil viscosity, promote oil aggregation, and enhance the squeezing efficiency.
- Step 3: Pressing: After cooking, the material is sent to the spiral oil press machine to be pressed. During hot pressing, the combined action of mechanical force and heat enables the separation of oil from the solid raw materials, resulting in crude oil.
- Step 4: Initial sedimentation and separation: After pressing, the crude oil has impurities and water. It needs to stand and settle for a period of time to allow impurities and water to settle at the bottom, then, by pouring or using centrifugal separation equipment, it separates the oil from the impurities.
- Step 5: Filter and Refine: After separation, the crude oil is removed by molecule by filtering. Then, refining processes are carried out, including deacidification, deodorization, decolorization, and other steps, to enhance the oil’s purity, color, and stability.
- Step 6: Packing and quality Inspection: The refined neem oil is packaged. And by testing indicators such as appearance, color, odor, and moisture content, ensure oil meets the standard.
