The process of sesame oil mill
- Step 1 Cleaning: it is to remove clay, sand, iron filings, weed seeds, and immature sesame seeds.
- Step 2 Softening: this regulates the moisture and temperature so that the sesame seeds soften and flake easily. After the sesame is softened, the temperature is 47-50℃, and the moisture is 7%.
- Step 3 Flaking: a roller barker laminates the seeds. When the grain seed is pressed into a sheet, its surface area increases, so the oil output area increases and the distance between the oil and the sheet decreases.
- Step 4 Cooking: it is the process of making the raw flakes turn into cooked flakes by adding water, heating, and drying. This could soften the flakes, adjust the flake’s structure, and also improve the oil quality.
- Step 5 Pressing: we provide two sesame oil extraction machines, including a hydraulic oil press machine and a screw oil press machine. The hydraulic oil press does not produce temperature and does not destroy the organic composition of the oil. So the extracted oil is of good quality and less impurities, which is suitable for the cold pressing process. Screw oil press machine produces friction that will make high temperatures, it may destroy the nutrients of the oil, and the extracted oil has a high phospholipid content, which needs to be filtered before it can be used.
- Step 6 Refining: it is to obtain pure oil. Refining includes degumming, deacidifying, and deodorizing processes.
