The Raw Material Of Bagasse Pulp
Bagasse pulp is made from sugarcane byproduct bagasse after chemical or biological pulping treatment. The fiber of bagasse is shorter, and the tearing degree is lower. It has a low cost and can be used to produce household paper. Producing household paper requires pulp mill machinery and paper production machine.
Bagasse Pulp Making Process
- STEP 1: Bagasse Preparation: Firstly, the bagasse should be cleaned to remove impurities, this ensures its quality and health safety. Then the cleaned bagasse should be cut in order to make it easier to extract the pulp.
- STEP 2: Washing: Bagasse is washed by a drum washing machine and hydraulic washing machine. Washing is to use hot water or oxygen to float the sewage and remove the lignin in the cooking process. Dissolved reactants and residual alkali are replaced by washing. It makes the pulp meet the needs of subsequent bleaching and reduces the material consumption of bleaching. It improves the alkali recovery rate and reduces pollution.
- STEP 3: Cooking: Bagasse is used in tubular continuous cooking to the required hardness. And then it is cooked using caustic soda at pressures ranging from 160 ° C to 170 ° C.
- STEP 4: Secondary washing: The bagasse pulp is washed twice by the pulp washing machine, and uses 70℃ to 80℃ evaporative hot water and 40℃ to 60℃ warm water to wash, this could remove residual alkali.
- STEP 5: Screening: After washing, the pulp goes through the screening process and can be used for traditional screening to remove coarse and long fibers and heavy impurity minerals. Screening is to remove the unevaporated components, mud, dust, scale rust, and so on. If these things are not removed, they will damage equipment and directly affect the progress of production and product quality.
- STEP 6: Bleaching: CEH pulp bleaching technology is a pulp bleaching method that includes chlorination, alkali treatment, and hypochlorite treatment. This technology could improve the whiteness of pulp. The chlorination stage adds chlorine gas or hypochlorite to change the structure of the bagasse pulp. The pulp adds alkali to neutralize the acid and increase the PH value of the pulp. Finally, the bagasse re-uses the hypochlorite to achieve quality standards.

Pulp Digester
The bagasse fiber is short and loose, the vertical pulp digester quickly absorbs the liquid medicine, and the fiber swells. This may cause the filter screen to become poor. Filter water finally affects the quality of the pulp. Therefore, a horizontal tube digester should be used. It occupies a small area, takes a short cooking time, makes uniform pulp quality, and expands stable steam and power consumption. So it is easy to achieve production automation.
Washer
In the washing process, the pulp washer uses an effective way to separate the stones, metals, sand, and other things mixed in the bagasse pulp. It ensures the quality of the bagasse pulp. Pulp Screen Machine
The pulp screen machine is mainly composed of a shell, frame, screen drum, rotor motor, and other parts. Pulp enters the screen drum through the pulp inlet, good pulp passes the screen hole by the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the screen drum. Coarse slag and fiber bundles are removed from the screen drum. This working principle makes the pulp screen effectively screen the bagasse pulp and improves the quality of the bagasse pulp.

CEH bleaching is a bleaching process and includes chlorination, alkali treatment, and hypochlorite bleaching. A pulp pump conveys pulp. A mixer is used to mix pulp.
