Types of Wood Pulp
Softwood pulp
softwood pulp is usually made from conifer species such as pine, softwood pulp usually has longer fibers and is suitable for paper that requires higher wet tension and fiber interweaving properties such as cement bag paper, envelope paper, and plastic sealing paper.
Hardwood pulp
hardwood pulp is mainly made from broad-leaved trees such as birch, poplar and eucalyptus. Hardwood pulp has relatively short fibers. It is suitable for the production of wrapping paper and paperboard, especially industrial paperboard.
Chemical Wood Pulp
Sulfate wood pulp: Sulfate wood pulp is produced by using a mixture of sodium hydroxide and sodium sulfide as a cooking agent. Because liquid medicine is relatively mild, the fiber is not strongly eroded. The paper is powerful and has excellent folding resistance and breaking resistance. Sulfite pulp: Sulfite pulp is made from a mixture of sulfite and acid sulfite as a cooking agent. The pulp has long fibers. The paper produced in this way has good toughness, high strength and easy bleaching.
Mechanical Wood Pulp
Mechanical pulp adopted the rotation of the mechanical friction, including stone ground wood pulp, and brown ground wood. In this way, the raw material of lignin is hardly dissolved. So the production cost is lower, it is difficult to bleach, and easily decomposes under light.
Chemomechanical pulp
Chemomechanical pulp is made of chemical pretreatment and mechanical grinding. Firstly, the hemicellulose in the wood is removed by chemical pretreatment. At the same time, it retains lignin and softens the intercellular layer. Then a disk mill grinds the softened chips and separates the fibers into pulp.

- STEP 5: Bleaching: The wood pulp has colors after making pulp and usually needs to be bleached, it usually uses chemicals such as hypochlorous acid or sodium hydroxide.
