- STEP 1: Raw material preparation: Collection of raw materials such as straw, rice husk, and sawdust need to be pre-treated, including removing impurities and modifying humidity to ensure subsequent process.
- STEP 2: Crushing: These materials need to be crushed to achieve a size suitable for pelleting
- STEP 3: Drying: These material has higher humidity, and need to be reduced to a suitable moisture content by drying equipment. The drying method can be hot air drying, natural wind drying, or other forms of heat source drying. In the drying process, it needs to strictly control temperature and humidity to avoid material deformed or cracked.
- STEP 4: Pelletizing: After drying, the material is sent to the pellet plant to produce. The main process of pelleting is to heat and pressure the raw material to form particles through the mold hole plate. The selection and operation technology of the pellet plant has an important influence on the quality of the particles.
- STEP 5: Cooling: The biomass particle needs to cool temperature through cooling equipment to avoid particles re-hygroscopic or deformed.
- STEP 6: Packing: After cooling, the product is packed, commonly packing method has bulk and bagged in order to transport and store.

Hammer mill
The hammer mill is mainly through the hammer head suspended on the rotor driven by a high-speed motor to quickly knock the material for crushing work. The material needs to be crushed in a size of 3-5mm to avoid clogging and ensure a high particle formation rate.
Rotary dryer
It is an internal heating conduction-type drying machine. Its core is constructed as a slightly inclined and rotating cylinder, with wet material entering from the upper end and dry material collecting from the lower end. Hot air enters from the feed end or the discharge end, passes through the material, and transports water, thus achieving drying.
Pellet machine
The pellet machine is a kind of equipment that develops the wet powder into the required particles. The powdered raw materials such as wood chips, sawdust, straw, or agricultural residues are ground through a wire sieve into biomass pellets for easy storage, transport, and use by the swinging effect of the rotating drum.
Cooler
The pellet is through the countercurrent cooling principle, the high-temperature particles are cooled to close to room temperature 3-5℃ to ensure the temperature is suitable for transport and storage. The pellet machine reduces the humidity of particles through treatment prevents the particles from deteriorating or breeding microorganisms due to high humidity during storage and transportation, and extends the storage cycle

A packing machine is an automatic equipment that is mainly used for measuring, filling, and sealing pelleting material.
