the process of biomass pellet plant
Raw material preparation: Raw materials of the biomass pellet plant mainly include wood chips, straw, rice husks, bark, and other agricultural and forestry processing waste. These materials need removal impieties to ensure the subsequent process.
Drying: Wood and other materials enter the dryer interior by the feed end. Through the coordination of a conveyor belt and screw feeder, the material is evenly sent into the drying room. The specified humidity is from 12% to 15%.
Crushing: Raw materials to be pretreated enter the crusher. The material is further refined into smaller particles. It improves particle uniformity and operability. Generally, the raw materials with the diameter around 30mm can be crushed into the small pieces with the diameter from 2mm to 5mm.
Pelleting: The raw material is sent to the pellet machine. The raw material is solidified into high-density pellets by roller and ring die. The pellet plants manufactured cover a wide range of target production: from 0.3 t/h to 32 t/h. For smaller target productions there are projects from 200 kg/hour to 300 kg/hour.
Screening and cooling: After making the pellet, need to screen the pellet then remove nonconforming products and cool the pellet to prevent pellet particles from deformation. Usually, if the pellet cooler is set to the ideal status, the outlet pellets can reach the temperature of just 2-5℃ higher than room temperature.
Packing and storing: After cooling, the pellet particles need to be packed so that stored and delivered. The selection of packaging materials should be based on the characteristics of the particles to ensure their stability during storage and transportation.
