Biomass pyrolysis process
Dry: The moisture content of biomass raw materials is usually between 20%-40%. Through the roller dryer, the moisture content reduces to 8%-10%.
Pretreatment: Raw materials such as wood chips and rice husks have small particle sizes and can be used directly after screening. The raw materials of the straw need to be crushed by the hammer crusher.
Pyrolysis: Biomass pyrolysis technology can be divided into three types according to different pyrolysis conditions. Slow pyrolysis, conventional pyrolysis, and fast pyrolysis. Slow pyrolysis is mainly used for charcoal, and the biomass can be pyrolyzed for a long time at a very low heating rate and temperature below 400℃, and the maximum coke yield can be 35%.Conventional pyrolysis is putting the biomass raw material into the conventional pyrolysis device, and pyrolysis at 380℃~450℃ and a low heating rate. It can produce 20%~25% biochar by weight of raw material and 10%~20% oil by weight. Rapid pyrolysis is putting finely ground biomass raw materials into a rapid pyrolysis device, and the biomass is pyrolyzed under atmospheric pressure and ultra-high heating rate, and the bio-oil can generally reach 40% to 60% of the weight of the raw material.
Carbon ash separation: The carbon ash produced during pyrolysis needs to be separated from the oil for subsequent treatment and utilization.

Drying roller
The heating system heats the air to a certain temperature to make biomass material quickly evaporate. The air circulation system sends the heated air into the drying room, makes full contact with the biomass material, and takes the water away. The air after drying filtered by a dust system to remove dust and other impurities from it. Then let out to the outdoors, thereby drying the biomass feedstock.
