  • STEP 1: Pretreatment: Before pyrolysis, solid waste needs pretreatment. Bulk impurities, Metal, glass, and other non-combustible substances are crushed solid waste into suitable particles. In addition, pretreatment also includes the waste being dried to reduce its moisture content and increase its calorific value.
  • STEP 2: Pyrolysis: When the reactor achieves pyrolysis temperature(800-1000℃), MSW begins pyrolysis. In this stage, the organic material of MSW begins pyrolysis, producing gas liquid, and solid. The gas mainly includes carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, hydrogen, and other flammable gases, liquid products are mainly tar, and solid products are incineration slag. AGICO pyrolysis reactors are made of refractory materials to reduce heat loss and save energy.
  • STEP 3: Condense system: It mainly recycles gas produced by pyrolysis and reduces the emission of pollutants. By cooling the gas produced by pyrolysis, the condensation system condenses the water vapor and oil in it into a liquid, thus achieving energy recovery and pollutant control.
  • STEP 4: Exhaust gas treatment system: Gas produced by high-temperature pyrolysis needs to be purified by an exhaust gas treatment system to remove hazardous material such as Sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxide, particulate matter, etc. After purification, the exhaust gas can meet environmental protection emission standards and then be discharged into the atmosphere. At the same time, the heat energy from high temperatures could be recycled by the thermal energy recovery system and turned into vapor to generate power and heating.

The main function of a pyrolysis cyclone separator is to separate the charcoal powder from syngas to improve the quality of the oil.
