STEP 1. Cleaning
Olive is sent to the cleaning tank to clean soil, dust, and impurities. The clean olives are transported through a conveyor belt to the next processing stage.
STEP 2. Crushing
Olive undergoes a hammer crusher or a knife crusher to be ground into a fine paste. Evenly crushing could increase surface area and have a higher extraction efficiency.
STEP 3. Stirring
The olive paste was sent into the blender. It is stirred by slow stirring at a control temperature of 25-30℃ for 30 to 60 minutes. Stirring can cause small oil droplets to merge into larger ones, making it convenient to separate.
STEP 4. Centrifugal separation
The olive paste flowed into the horizontal settler. The fruit pulp and the oil-water mixture were separated.
STEP 5. Oil water separation
The oil-water mixture is sent to a vertical split-type centrifuge. The remaining water and fine particles were all removed. This is virgin oil.
STEP 6. Refining and filtration
If a second refining process is needed, the clear oil obtained is refined olive oil. Finally, after further purification and filtration, the taste and color are improved.
